Conference Tool Kit
This tool kit is designed to help you prepare for conference! You'll find two helpful letters. One to your administrator, stating the benefits of your attendance at conference and the other for surveyors asking them for consideration when scheduling survey!
In addition, we've included what we believe to be your "Top Ten" list of reminders and tips for a successful conference:
- Pack a sweater as room temperatures may vary.
- Attend all keynote sessions as they are provided for all attendees and they will undoubtedly inspire, motivate and enhance resident care and quality.

Reserve your hotel room at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center no later than February 10, 2009 in order to secure conference discounts on room rates.
- Explore what Kansas City has to offer. Stop by the hotel's concierge desk for free advice on dining out, attractions and more!
- Check out the exhibit hall for the latest in innovations and information that will assist you with daily care of residents.
- Strive for Five! Our goal is to provide you with a 5-star conference event. Stop by the registration desk and tell us what we can do to enhance your overall conference experience!

Join us for the BBQ Round-Up Dinner Thursday evening, March 5, 2009 where you will experience authentic Kansas City BBQ and listen and dance to the “Outlaw Junkies”. It’s a great opportunity to network with your peers. Contact us at 1.800.768.1880 by February 17, 2009 to register.
- Download and print your breakout session handouts for conference. Look for them to be posted on aanac.org the week of February 16, 2009.
